Club Balai Isabel

Let me start by confessing I visited Club Balai Isabel thrice that week. :) My family and I, loves the place too much we try to go there as often as my mom wants to. So, in the middle of planning our next "adventure" I just knew I had to take my friends there. I had to change our itinerary from Laiya to Club Balai Isabel since we weren't exactly in the mood for some swimming, nor was our bodeh near bikini ready. winkwink

HOW TO GET THERE:
Coming from Lipa, we took star toll way and took Tanauan exit. (Don't ask me how long it took us to get there, because i'm such a slow driver.) After paying toll, go left heading to Talisay. It's pretty easy to spot Club Balai Isabel so you don't have to worry anything--only slow driving tricycles. Now If you don't have the courage to overtake (like me) it's probably going to take you forever, too =P

This is the view from their restaurant! Nestled perfectly at the middle of the lake. June is probably one of the best time to visit Club Balai Isabel. A bit sunny, with the breezy gust of wind. So it's never too hot to roam around and enjoy their other facilities, take hundreds of pictures, make lots of kwentos, and catch up with old friends.

WILL SING AND DANCE FOR FOOD
Meet my travel buddies, Claudine and Alex! :-) We probably make good travel buddies for three reasons, one, we are almost always free, two we are always game for anything, and three, we just looooooooove good food! We'd probably go to hell for gluttony. haha I guess that explains the size of our thighs! (:

With Julie!
Club Balai Isabel has 228 rooms to choose from, one of which is behind us with the perfect view of the Taal Lake. The architectural design of each villa gives that perfect staycation feel, makes you want to glue your ass and just stay there for good.

*Note: Wear flats!

Club Balai Isabel is a bit pricey, bbb-bu-but it certainly is worth every penny.  The great thing about Club Balai, is the many things you'll get to do there. They offer a trek to crater itself for P2500 good for 6 pax. But being the kuripot that we are, we didn't. Well at least we have another thing to add to our travel bucket list. :)

I'd give it an o-kay. Or was it the view that I was really drawn to? hehe
We ordered, Bagnet, Kare Kare, and uhh chicken? They had a set meal for the day but the Bagnet was just too hard to say no to. During weekends, they have buffet lunch for P400 per person which is sooo sulit!
One of the many great places to discover in Club Balai Isabel is their Chapel. Think the exterior is picturesque? Wait till you see the inside and you have that "I am so gonna get married here" moment too!

Till next time Club Balai, I'm pretty sure it won't me long. Right Mom? :)
